Klokken 15:04 er det 52 år siden at flyet, med Manchester Uniteds legendariske The Busby Babes-hold ombord, styrtede ned i Münchens lufthavn.
Blandt de 23 omkomne i ulykken var 8 Manchester United-spillere, inklusiv den spruldrende Duncan Edwards, hvis fremtid så så lys ud, men desværre gik bort, da han kort efter ulykken døde af sine kvæstelser.
Ulykken bliver i dag mindet en time før kampen udenfor Old Trafford samt umiddelbart før kampen. Manchester Uniteds spillere vil ligeledes bære sørgebind.
